Trend at MSU

Before I came to Michigan, somebody told me the Michigan people like football a lot. So I think the football is people's enternal topic and something related to football must be a trend at the MSU. When I first came to the MSU, I saw the huge football stadium can contain a lot of people and the stadium is at the central of the MSU. So you see football is important to MSU students.
Once there was a football match at the stadium, i didnt watch it and i had dinner at cafeteria. Some one came to me and said, Why dont you watch the football match. So you see football is really a trend at the MSU. At the day of football match you can see loads of people wearing the MSU trikots. Some people wear a spartan helmets. All of them come to watch the match at the stadium. When people meet, they always yell," Go Green, Go White!" They seem to be crazy about football.
Football is not only the MSU trend, but also all of the MSU people's lives.

Talk about major

I choose to study math in the future. Math is little boring in some say. I agree that.Because math is a little abstract. Maybe it is little hard. But if one concentrates on it, maybe it is the most interesting one. Also, the math is the basic of every subject. So i choose it as my major.
I have to dedicate on math.

One Day in Elementary School

One day, we went to a elementary school to do a presentation about our own different cultures. I was very happy i saw so many American children that day. I probably know about the Americans' childhood a little bit. That day, we did presentations in the library. It is a nice library. I saw many interesting books in it. I think the education in the US may put great emphasis on reading. From elementary school to university, if you want to read something, you can get free books to read at anytime. So i know part of Americans' childhood is reading and even part of Americans' daily life is reading.

Hallowmas

Today is special. Because today is Halloween. I saw many people weared wierd costume like, a guy weared like a cowboy, a girl weared like a nurse. But the interesting i saw is some guys pretend to be old men. I saw them on the bus station. And they used a very interesting voice like old men greeted to the bus driver, "hello young lady..."
I thought the halloween is children's festival. Many children ask for candies with saying " treat or trick"
In a nutshell, halloween is a amusing festival.

Thanksgiving Plan

Firstly, i would say this is my first time to have Thanksgiving in America. So it will be interesting. In my opinion, Thanksgiving has had nothing to do with the real purpose of that. People just travel, go shopping and play. This is the time for people tp relax. I think it will be fun! I cant wait to make a plan for Thanksgiving. Originally, I feel like to go to Chicago to see a NBA match. But i just have $500. So i have to save to spend this money. So this is also a saving money plan. First i give up go there by plane, beacause the NBA ticket will cost me $126.75. So i have to go there by train. Additionly, I have to choose to live in hostel. I think it will be much cheaper than living in hotel. I will buy some NBA keepsakes at last.
So that's my original plan for Thanksgiving. I hope i can have a interesing Thanksgiving Day !

My Room

First of all, my room is a little mess up. So I didnt upload the picture of my room. Sorry everyone. My room is in Rather Hall, Brody. The buildings look a little older than others in MSU, but its rooms are really big. My room is the biggest in brody and it is only one. I was lucky living in a big room. My room doesnt have restroom, but in my opinion it is really good without restroom. Because I dont need to take time to clean the restroom.
I should like my room, however i dislike it for some reason that I dont like to mention. I cant wait to move to another room. So now I am trying to do this now. I hope to move to a good room later.

a good restaurant

When I first came here, i ate pizza every day. I felt so bored on eating. I dont know where to eat in the usa but pizza and burritos.
But one day, Lawrence introduced a good restaurant to me. It is called omi, a Japanese restaurant. In my opinion, Japanese food is a little sweet and it tastes very light, not salte and good. So the Japanese food is fit for everyone's taste. The decoration in omi gives me a good feeling to eat here. The main colors in omi are white and blue and they make me feel a kind of comfortable. In my opinion, the food in omi is authentic. So it is very worthy to eat here once a week.
At last, if you dont go to eat in omi, have a try. Maybe you can find your favourite restaurant in East Lansing.
